The Blue Mountains is populated by Eucalyptus trees, the atmosphere is filled with finely dispersed droplets of the oil, which, in combination with dust particles and water vapour, scatter rays of light which are predominantly BLUE in colour giving the mountains their famous name.
The Three Sisters – Echo Point Katoomba

The Three Sisters is essentially an unusual rock formation representing three sisters who according to Aboriginal legend were turned to stone. The character of the Three Sisters changes throughout the day and throughout the seasons as the sunlight brings out the magnificent colours.

Experience Scenic World with its Skyway, suspended 270 meters above the ancient ravines offering breathtaking views revealed beneath your feet through the electro-glass cabin floor. Scenic Railway with a 52° incline, riding the steepest passenger railway in the world descending 310 meters through a cliff-side tunnel to the Valley floor to explore the many walks through the Jamison valley.

Blackheath - Govetts Leap

Wentworth Falls - National Pass
The is part of a network of tracks including the Nature Track, Wentworth Pass, the Overcliff-Undercliff Walk, Vera Falls Track, Kings Tableland and the historic Charles Darwin Walk that ambles upstream along Jamison Creek to Wentworth Falls village.
Leura - Leura Cascades
Leura Cascades is a peaceful setting for a family picnic or BBQ. From the Cascades you can leisurely walk to several waterfalls including Leura, Linda, Lila and Bridal Veil Falls. You can also walk to Copelands Lookout and Flying Fox Lookout. Attention to detail with sheltered picnic areas and a playground for children makes Leura Cascades a perfect picnic location.
